Before joining the Technology Innovation Lab (Sanja Vickovic), Francesco Cambuli did his postdoctoral training in the labs of Michael Shen (CUIMC) and Karuna Ganesh (MSKCC) and sought to combine single-cell profiling of human tumor specimens with patient-derived organoids and mouse models of cancers for mechanistic insights. Moving on, Francesco Cambuli is focusing on the development of novel technologies that enable massively-parallel screening of gene functions, drugs, and microenvironmental cues, using clinically-relevant disease models and content-rich, multimodal single-cell readouts.
