Claire is a PhD student in the Allen's group in the Department of Statistics at Columbia University. Originally from Paris, France, she completed her engineering degree at ENSAE Paris in Applied Mathematics and Economics while receiving a master's degree in Mathematical Statistics at University of Cambridge. She is interested in statistical methodology for applied problems in biology, ecology, and, genomics. In her spare time, she enjoys various activities such as bird watching, crocheting, and painting.
