Partnership with Columbia Summer Undergraduate Research Experiences in Mathematical Modeling

Columbia Summer Undergraduate Research Experiences in Mathematical Modeling (CSUREMM) is a full-time ten-week program for collaborative undergraduate student summer research experiences in mathematical modeling. The CSUREMM program offers an opportunity for undergraduate students interested in mathematical modeling and scientific computing, regardless of their major, to immerse themselves into an interdisciplinary, experiential, and hands-on experience. The program is open to any continuing Barnard/Columbia undergraduate students.

IICD partners with the CSUREMM program through financial support of the program and co-organization of events for IICD and CSUREMM summer students since 2022.
