The Institute invites all IICD members (faculty, researchers, students, interns, and staff in core and associate labs) to submit art related to the Institute’s research for the first IICD Art and Science competition. Two prizes will be awarded: one selected by a panel of judges and the other chosen by IICD members through an online vote. The two winning artworks will be printed and displayed in the lobby of the IICD Suite.
- Judges' Winner: The winner will receive a $100 gift card. The art piece will be displayed in the IICD lobby.
- People’s Choice Award Winner: The most popular artwork will be selected by IICD members in an online vote. The winner will receive a $100 gift card. The art piece will be displayed in the IICD lobby.
- Submit your artwork using the following form: The competition is currently closed. Check back later for the next competition.
- Please provide a title and a description in layman’s terms (150 words max)
- Allowed artwork: scientific images (microscopy images, etc.), image collages, drawings, paintings, photography
- Dimensions: Max 16” x 20”. Resolution: 300 DPI minimum
Please note that all the artwork submitted will be published on our website and will be used for official communications (newsletters, articles, social media, etc.). If the artwork displays data, please ensure that you can share it publicly.
