Ruiyang is a PhD student in the Biomedical Engineering department, advised by Sanja Vickovic and Bianca Dumitrascu. Prior to Columbia, Ruiyang completed a B.A. in Natural Sciences and M.Sci in Systems Biology at the University of Cambridge. Ruiyang is interested in developing novel computational methods integrated with advances in spatial transcriptomics technologies to dissect the importance of spatial organization in development and disease.
