Research Interest

Khanh Ngoc Dinh is an Associate Research Scientist in IICD. He was a postdoctoral researcher at Rice University from 2018 to 2019, under the supervision of Dr. Marek Kimmel. He then became a postdoctoral researcher at IICD under Dr. Simon Tavaré from 2019 to 2023.

Khanh's background is in computational mathematics, with experience in numerical solvers for Ordinary Differential Equations and stochastic simulations, and their applications in biology. His work has been focused on inferring biological processes and parameters of interest to oncologists, by modeling cancer evolution from bulk and single-cell DNA sequencing data.
