Title: "Precision Medicine in Oncology Across the Cancer Care Continuum: From Prevention to Treatment"

Description: The approach to personalized strategies in oncology using genomic information encompasses the cancer care continuum: from cancer risk assessment and prevention to the treatment of cancer and management of toxicities of cancer treatment. Given the complex and rapidly evolving panels of genomic testing in cancer, both in the germline and somatic settings, enhancing patient and physician understanding of genomic information is critical to advancing the clinical utility of these tests and improving the delivery of cancer care. Additionally, the delivery and implementation of precision medicine should be done in a way to ensure equity in access to these resources across all communities and patient populations. In this talk, we will describe the utilization and implications of germline and somatic testing in cancer care.
