Title: "Mechanism and therapy of NPM1 mutated leukemia"

Description: Mutations of NPM1 is the most common mutations in acute myeloid leukemia. The mutation leads to the substantial alterations in the mutant NPM1's subcellular location from nucleolus to cytoplasm and gene expression patterns. We have shown mutant NPM1 act as a neomorphic transcriptional amplifier in controlling HOX/MEIS1 gene expression. In the talk, the novel mechanism of NPM1 condensate formation will be discussed. The efficacy of Menin inhibitor in NPM1c AML will also be discussed.

Hosted by Dr. Chao Lu.
