IICD Faculty Elham Azizi (Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Herbert and Florence Irving Assistant Professor of Cancer Data Research) received an NSF CAREER Award for her research project titled "Integrative modeling of intercellular interactions in the tumor microenvironment". The Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program from the NSF supports early-career faculty who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization.
