Congratulations to Marina Milea (SRP’25 and SRP Emerging Scholars Award’25), who received the Sharon D. Cosloy Undergraduate Research Award in Biology last October. The scholarship is awarded annually to one Biology student at The City College of New York who demonstrates strong research potential and plans to pursue graduate studies in the biomedical field. Marina earned this recognition for her work developing a framework to genetically perturb T cells using CRISPR to investigate tumor immune evasion mechanisms in the Azizi and McFaline-Figueroa labs, under the mentorship of Dr. Lingting Shi.
