Congratulations to Sohrab Salehi, postdoctoral research scientist co-mentored by Dr. Sohrab Shah, David Blei, and Charlie Rudin, who received a K99/R00 award for his project titled “Causal determinants of drug resistance and metastasis in cancer with multimodal single cell data.” The project aims to develop a new class of scalable statistical models that will help identify causal determinants of treatment failure in small cell lung cancer and metastasis in high grade serous ovarian cancer and gastric adenocarcinoma.
