Congratulations to Lingting Shi, postdoctoral research scientist co-mentored by Dr. Elham Azizi and Dr. José McFaline-Figueroa, who received a T32 grant from the Genome and Epigenome Integrity in Cancer Training Program leadership.
The GEIC at the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center is a new university-wide training program which prepares predoctoral students and postdoctoral fellows for productive careers in basic and translational cancer research on the roles of genomic and epigenomic instability in cancer. In this project, Lingting is investigating the dynamics of tumor-immune interactions in tumor microenvironment with genetic perturbation tools and computational modeling.
